Getting started with Android Studio in Windows

  1. Install JDK.
  2. Go to   c:/program files/java/jdk copy this path and make JAVA_HOME system variable by going through computer>system properties>advanced system settings>environment variables.
  3. Go to c:/program files/java/jdk/bin copy this path and paste it in Path variable followed by ; by going through computer>system properties>advanced system settings>environment variables.
  4. Enable Virtualisation Technology in BIOS.
  5. Uncheck Enable Hardware Assisted Virtualisation in antivirus>setting>general>troubleshooting
  6. Install Android Studio
  7. Declare Memory for intel HAXM asked while installation.
  8. Installtion Completed.
  9. At first time start Up SDK manager requires update & installs required files.
  10. Configure AVD.
  11. Set memory for AVD which should not exceed than HAXM memory.
  12. Ready to work.
